New Chart Posted

For our new website, coming later in 2026, we have developed a home-grown charting Cromford technology. This allows us to offer many features we haven’t been able to provide to our subscribers before.

To give you some idea of what the new charts offer, I have posted a replacement for the Squirrel chart that shows Average List Price per Square Foot for Active Listings. You can find it here.

Actually, this chart replaces several old charts since in one place it allows you to show any combination of:

    • active
    • coming soon
    • UCB/CCBS
    • pending
    • temp-off-market

listing counts. The default is just active.

Another change is that we are now showing ARMLS data from all areas of Arizona. You first choose one or more counties, then the cities or towns, followed by the ZIP codes.

    Further filters are available for:

    • dwelling types
    • price range
    • square foot range
    • year built range
    • new and/or resale

Optionally, you can adjust the list $/SF for inflation based on either the USA national consumer price index or the specific index for the Phoenix metro.

There are buttons for you to print, download an image, download the underlying totals in a CSV, or save your filter selection to a file, which you can later retrieve by name. This saves you having to enter your favorite combinations more than once.

You can also limit the date range in order to see parts of the chart more closely. An optional smooth trendline can be added, and the maximum, minimum, first and last data points can be annotated on the chart.

If you have any suggestions about more functions or changes you would like to see, please drop me a line by email. Please do the same if you encounter any issues.

We are adding several charts and functions every day to the new site and hope to launch it properly before long. Stay tuned for more details.
