Throughout 2026, the number of listings under contract has remained ahead of 2025 and even 2024, except for 1 week in mid-January. We are now well into the hot summer months, when demand tends to lose momentum, but as of June 13, we see a 5.3% advantage for 2026 with 8,661 over 2025’s 8224. Neither of these counts is high by normal standards, but it is better to be on an increasing trend year-over-year than the other way round.
We will try to keep these positive thoughts in mind as contract counts decline in the next few weeks, in line with normal seasonal patterns.
